When we pack your item we GUARANTEE insurability. When you pack yourself and use the carrier insurance...the carrier decides whether you get paid. If they think you didn't pack it right, your claim could possibly be denied.
We use our own package insurer and claims get paid whether the carrier agrees or not! And we make sure packages are properly packed. Our insurer also covers personal effects, which are usually not covered by the carrier insurance.
